KAS has an online booking system called ‘Aimy Plus', this is where all bookings are made. Once you have signed up to Aimy Plus you can use it to book at any KAS Before Care, After Care or Holiday Programme.

Before School Care – 6:30am to between 8:15am and 8:30am depending on which programme your child attends. Click here to find your location and the details.
After School Care – All programmes open at various times, depending on the time the school you child attends finishes. All programmes close at 6:00pm.
We offer pick up options for schools that we do not run a programme from, and children are picked up at the time the school finishes for the day.
Holiday Programme – 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday

Fees are emailed out weekly in advance for the following week. Our Terms & Conditions provides information on when payment is due, any late fees etc.

In the event of an emergency or an unexplained absence it is important that we are able to contact you quickly. It is an MSD requirement and part of our accreditation with OSCN that all our families provide 2 x emergency contacts along with the primary caregivers contact details.

No – a permanent day is permanent, unless you have a casual booking and advise within the times as per Terms and Conditions.

Yes. We charge a $3 fee per phone call if you have not let us know that your child will be absent. If you forget to let us know, our staff spend time looking for your child and making phone calls to ensure your child is safe.

In line with normal business and commercial practices, statutory (public) holidays which fall on normal school days, including teacher only days, school closures etc., will be charged at normal booking rates.

Full week discounts are given to those enrolled for full sessions for the full week.

If your school has an early finish, we will ensure we open the programme early on that day, if you have a permanent booking, you do not need to change anything, your child will be expected at programme at the earlier time. You are able to make a casual booking if not already booked on that day.

All our staff are required to do behavioural training to be well equipped to help children in any situation. We have a KAS Treaty that all children agree to which is displayed in all our programmes and talked about consistently at mat time. We have behaviour plans we can put in place, if necessary, which always involves the parent, child and our key staff members. We always work with you to assist where we can.

We have 10 sites offering OSCAR services in the South Auckland area.
Sites: Bombay, Harrisville, Hillpark (Manurewa), Karaka, Paerata, Patumahoe, Pokeno, Pukekohe, Te Hihi and Waiuku.
We run Holiday Programmes at Bombay, Harrisville, Karaka, Patumahoe, Pokeno, Pukekohe and Waiuku. Your child can attend any Holiday Programme that is best suitable for you which may depend on access, where you work, how close to the Motorway it is etc. Click here to find your nearest location.

At some programmes we offer drop off to activities, please enquire with our head office for further information.

We pick up all new entrant and year 1 children from their classes for after school care and drop them off to their class in the morning. If you would like your child picked up from their class, we can accommodate this.

Yes, we collect from most schools in the Franklin region. Make sure you put your child’s school information in your booking. For further information or to confirm, please contact our Head Office on 09 236 4078.

Here is our technology policy:
Children under the age of 10 are not permitted the use of technology at KAS.
Children over 10 years of age are allowed technology at specific times only:
• For After School Care – after 4:45pm
• Holiday Programme – after 3:30pm roll call, or on allocated technology day. We do have a Digital Learning and Cyber Safety Agreement that must be signed prior to children using devices in our programmes.

We provide a healthy breakfast of cereals and toast, we encourage children to have cereal first. We also provide a healthy afternoon tea, including sandwiches, fruit, crackers, baking, vegetables, and other healthy options.
We provide options that may suit different dietary requirements; however, we will not supply specific items – you are welcome to bring your own. Please Provide any special bread/spreads.

Yes, all our vehicles have booster seats for those that require them, and all our seats and restraints meet NZTA specifications.

Comfort toys are welcome at all our programmes, however we do request that children do not bring other toys to KAS to avoid them getting damaged or lost. We provide plenty toys and resources in all our programmes.

First we will check with the school, then we will contact the main parent/caregiver. If we do not get hold of them, we will contact the next person on the emergency contact list, if we have exhausted all avenues we will contact the police. We take this process very seriously and therefore it is important that you keep your child’s profile information up to date.

No, we do not allow medication to be kept in children’s bags. A medication consent form must be completed if medication is to be administered, children are not able to self-administer.

Only if it is approaching our closing time, not if you will be later than the early session finish.
After 6pm yes, late fees are outlined in our Terms and Conditions. If you don’t pick your child up by the end of the early session booked, you will just be charged the difference between full session and early session.

Yes, any child aged between 5 years and 13 years can attend any of our programmes.

Yes, unless it is a casual booking, and we receive the notification within the times outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
