- 13At KAS, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported and valued. Our team takes a positive, proactive approach to behaviour guidance, focusing on building strong relationships, encouraging positive choices and helping children develop important social and emotional skills. All KAS staff complete behaviour management training and are equipped with strategies to support children through a wide range of situations. We also have our KAS Treaty, which is displayed and discussed regularly with children in their programmes. This helps create clear expectations and a positive programme culture where everyone is encouraged to show respect, kindness and responsibility. If a child requires additional support, we may work together to develop an individual behaviour plan. This process always involves the child, their family and key KAS staff members to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
