WELCOME TO KAS HILLPARK
Our Hillpark programme has been open since 2022 and is situated in Manurewa. We operate our programme out of one of the school’s classrooms and the school hall and have full use of the kitchen facilities for food preparation and baking/cooking activities.

During our operating hours, we have full use of the schools’ playgrounds and fields.

Hillpark school has a swimming pool that we are permitted to use during Terms 1 and 4, permission slips are required to be filled in and signed if you would like your child to participate.

We run a Holiday programme at our Hillpark site.

8.10 - 8.15am - whistle blows for clean up

8.25am - children all sit down ready to be signed out/roll call

8.30am - children released to school, juniors are walked to their classroom

3.00 - 3.30pm - sign in, homework club

3.30 - 3.45pm - afternoon tea

3.45 - 4.45pm - structured group activity time e.g. cooking, science, arts and crafts, sports and games

4.45 - 5.15pm - roll call then free choice, playground time or an organised game

5.15 - 6.00pm - clean up and wind down, quiet gamesโ

8am to 3pm – main programme, plus we offer before and after care from 7am to 8am, and from 3pm to 6pm.

7.00 - 10.00am - (No trip) kids choice, supervised games and crafts are set up for children to participate

10.00 - 10.15am - morning tea (children bring their own)

10.15 - 12.30pm - activity time - organised themed activities in groups

12.30 - 1.00pm - lunch (children bring their own)

1.15 - 3.30pm - activity time - organised themed activities in groups

3.30pm - afternoon tea (supplied by KAS)

4.00pm - 5.30pm - kids choice and supervised activities

MEET THE TEAM

MANAGER
I moved to NZ 20 years ago with my parents and siblings. I used to work in the childcare centre before I had my kids. I love to be around children, and I love my job at KAS. In my spare time i like to spend time with my kids, go shopping and listen to music.

PROGRAMME ASSISTANT
I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Education. I have three siblings and love spending time with my nieces and nephews. My favourite colours are pink and green and my favourite food is sushi.
