NGAKOROA care SCHedules

At KAS, we believe children thrive when they have a balance of routine, choice and fun. Every session follows a familiar daily routine that helps children feel settled, confident and know what to expect, while still providing plenty of opportunities to explore, create, play and connect.

 

What a typical KAS day looks like:

​​After School Care

  • 2.30 - 3.30pm - sign in, homework club

  • 3.30 - 3.45pm - afternoon tea

  • 3.45 - 4.45pm - structured group activity time EG: cooking, science, arts and crafts, sports and games

  • 4.45 - 5.15pm - roll call then free choice, playground time or an organised game

  • 5.15 - 6.00pm - clean up and wind down, quiet games​

KAS has proudly been part of the Ngākōroa School community since early 2025 and it has been a pleasure getting to know the wonderful children, families and staff.

 

We are proud to be part of such a welcoming community and look forward to continuing to build strong relationships while providing fun, engaging and reliable care that children love and parents can trust.

holiday programme

While we do not currently operate a Holiday Programme from this site, KAS offers Holiday Programmes at nine locations across South Auckland and Franklin, meaning there is a KAS Holiday Programme close by for most families.

 

To ensure every Holiday Programme is full of energy, exciting activities and opportunities for children to make new friends, we currently operate our programmes from locations where enrolment numbers allow us to provide the best possible experience.

I have always had a passion for working with children, they inspire me with their joyful and curious approach to our world.

My favourite season is summer as I love to be outdoors and by the waterside. I love to laugh, sing, dance and spend quality time with my family.
