Our Pokeno programme has been open since 2020.
Currently our Pokeno Programme runs out of Room 21 within Pokeno School, where we have access to the large school field for outside games & activities & the school playgrounds for free time fun.
Entry to the programme is via Carpark 2 on Helenslee Road.

We run a Holiday programme at our Pokeno site.

Before School Care

6.30am - programme open

6.30 - 6.45am - quiet activities

6.45 - 7.40am - breakfast

8.10am - whistle blows for cleanup, then staff run an organised game

8.20am - children sit down ready to be signed out/roll call

8.30am - children released to school, new entrants are walked to their classroom

โAfter School Care

3.00 - 3.30pm - sign in, homework club and a supervised game and/or craft

3.30 - 3.45pm - afternoon tea

3.45 - 4.45pm - structured group activity time e.g. cooking, science, arts and crafts, sports and games

4.45 - 5.15pm - roll call then free choice, playground time or an organised game

5.15 - 6.00pm - clean up and wind down, quiet gamesโ

I love working with kids and enjoy doing day to day activities with them. I love that no single day at work is the same. I admire children’s endless energy , honesty, creativity, flexibility and resilience. I love cooking, doing arts and craft, and playing sports.

I grew my love working for/with kids, once I became an auntie to many nieces and nephews. Seeing kids grow and be the best versions of themselves feels rewarding. I love my cars, 2 dogs, music and anything to do with travelling. Very family orientated & always up for a good laugh.

I used to work as a teacher in India, and I’ve always had a deep love for working with children. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science, but my true passion has always been in education—especially when it comes to helping kids grow, learn, and express themselves. One of my favourite things to do is arts and crafts with children. I find it’s a great way to connect with them and encourage creativity.
